"Alex Sam Career Documents," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the career consultancy operated under the Alex Sam brand. "You," "client," and "your" refer to the individual or entity engaging our services.
These Terms of Service govern all services provided by Alex Sam Career Documents, including resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, executive bio writing, LinkedIn banner design, and website build services.
Each engagement begins with a scope agreement communicated via email or text message, confirming the service(s) to be provided, the agreed price, and the expected timeline. No work begins until scope and payment terms are agreed.

Prices may vary based on seniority level, complexity, and scope. Turnaround also depends on how quickly the client reviews drafts and responds during revisions. Rush delivery is available for most services at an additional charge, agreed prior to commencement.
A 50% deposit of the agreed price is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final document(s). Work will not commence and final files will not be delivered until the relevant payment has cleared.
We accept payment via PayPal (paypal.me/mohammadyasinshuaib), USD bank transfer via Lead Bank, and GBP/EUR bank transfer via Clear Junction Limited. Full payment details are available on our Services page and will be provided upon engagement.
If the final balance is not received within 7 days of delivery, we reserve the right to withhold the editable source files (Word documents, design files) until payment is received. PDF previews may be provided for review purposes in the interim.
We offer unlimited revisions on all services until you are fully satisfied with the output. Revisions must relate to the original scope of work agreed. Requests that represent a significant change in direction, target role, or career narrative may be treated as a new project scope and priced accordingly, with your agreement.
Revisions are conducted via email or text message. Please consolidate your feedback clearly to help us turn revisions around efficiently.
Turnaround times are estimates and begin from the point at which we have received all necessary information from you (career history, existing documents, target role details, and any other materials requested). Turnaround times may be affected by delays in receiving this information.
Final documents are delivered via email. Career documents are delivered as Word (.docx) and PDF. LinkedIn profile content is formatted for direct copy-paste. Website files are delivered as a ZIP archive containing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files.
We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including illness, technical issues, or force majeure events.
All career information, personal details, and materials you provide to us remain your property. We use them solely for the purpose of completing your project.
Upon receipt of full payment, all delivered documents and designs become your property for your personal and professional use. You may use them freely in job applications, on professional platforms, and for any other lawful purpose.
We may use anonymised versions of completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials. All personally identifiable information (your name, employer, contact details) will be removed or obscured before any portfolio use. If you would prefer your work not be used even in anonymised form, please let us know and we will honour that request.
For website projects, you own the delivered code outright upon full payment. We retain no ongoing rights to the website. Third-party fonts, libraries, and services used in the build are subject to their own licences (typically open-source or free-tier), which we will document for you at delivery.
We treat all client information with strict confidentiality. We will not share, disclose, or discuss your personal career information, the content of your documents, or details of your job search with any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your data.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, and we write documents based on the information you give us. You are responsible for verifying that all content in your final documents is truthful and accurate before submitting them to employers.
While we work hard to produce documents that perform well in the hiring process, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome including interview requests, job offers, or employment. The quality of our documents is within our control; the decisions of recruiters and hiring managers are not.
Our commitment is to deliver research-led, professionally written documents that give you the best possible presentation of your professional self. Results depend on many factors outside the scope of document quality.
If you cancel an engagement before we have begun work, your deposit will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
If you cancel after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid in full and wish to cancel before delivery, a partial refund reflecting work completed may be offered at our discretion.
If you are not satisfied with the delivered work, we ask that you engage the revision process before requesting a refund. We offer unlimited revisions and will work until the document meets your reasonable expectations. Refunds are not offered where the dissatisfaction relates to subjective preferences that were not communicated during the intake and revision process.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alex Sam Career Documents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or documents, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities, lost income, or reputational harm.
Our total liability in connection with any service engagement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific engagement.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or from our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version in effect at the time you engage our services governs that engagement. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
